Steroids are used by bodybuilders for different fitness goals. If you are new to anabolic compounds, it is important to weigh the pros, cons and side effects before deciding a stack or cycle. When you inject or take any steroid, you are basically injecting synthetic hormones in the body, which will have an impact on the endocrine system and major organs. Besides the immediate results, you will also see additional side effects after you stop taking the steroid. This is where post cycle therapy comes in the picture. In this post, we will discuss Anavar post cycle therapy in detail.
What’s post cycle therapy? This is a common practice among bodybuilders, when they try to recover from the use of steroids. Steroids, as mentioned, can impact your body in many ways. With post cycle therapy, users try to reduce the effects of steroids and wean off the remaining synthetic hormones from the body. The step is important because the natural production of hormones is affected with steroids, and after you stop a stack, the body must return to normalcy as soon as possible. PCT is meant to help with that.
Anavar post cycle therapy
First things first, post cycle therapy is not compulsory, but most bodybuilders will suggest this. As compared to other hormones, Anavar is known to be gentle. It also has a reputation of having minimal side effects, especially keeping other drugs in mind. PCT is important because it helps the body to recover. Anavar PCT is all about restoring testosterone production. When you take steroids, you are injecting testosterone in the body, and naturally, the body stops its natural production. With Anavar PCT, you can enhance the natural production of testosterone.
Things to know
Numerous substances are used in Anavar PCT. In most cases, it is a selective estrogen receptor modulator, also known as SERM. Some of the common options include Clomid and Nolvadex. The dosage recommendations may vary, but in most cases, users start with 150 mg with Clomid for the first week, which is then reduced to 75 mg daily in the second week. In the third week, the dosage is limited to 40 mg, while some users also continue it for the fourth week at 20 mg.
As for Nolvadex, the common use is 40 mg in first week, 20 mg in second week, and in the third week, the dosage is further reduced to 10 mg. Please note that fourth week therapy might not be needed, depending on the use of Anavar.
